Journalist | CBC News | Saskatchewan | 2016 – Present
Kendall Latimer is an award-winning, multi-skilled journalist who tells stories with words, sound, photographs and video. Latimer is empathetic in her approach and strives to amplify voices. She’s passionate about writing in-depth stories that feature strong characters, however, she can also expertly deliver when it comes to breaking news. She’s got an eye for visuals and enjoys photography. Latimer also shares audio stories in many ways, from documentaries to podcasts to soundscapes. She can bring a storytelling project from pre-production to the final cut for any platform.
Latimer works as a multi-platform reporter who pitches, gathers and files stories for news and current affairs (online, on the radio, on television and social media.) She also fills in as a copy-editor and friendly mentor as needed.
